Freewheelers Theatre Company

Three reactions to the news? 1. Hurrah! Some great recognition, at last. 2. It will an enormous help to have sound advice about our company structure and so much else. 3. Very empowering for us all!

The Freewheelers Theatre Company is an innovative arts organisation, bringing disabled and non-disabled actors and supporters, production teams and the local community together.

The Freewheelers use theatre and dance, wheelchair and voicebox technology, multimedia, animations, puppets and shadows to highly original work.

And now they are taking their work out to theatres and communities across the South East. On offer are:

  • Performances of original dance, film and theatre productions

  • Play in a week” productions with local communities

  • Dance, drama and film workshops in schools and with community groups on a regular or one-off basis

  • Commissioned work for particular festivals, spaces or occasions
