The Sync South East programme has helped me realise my creative potential and be more strategic in developing my professional capacity as filmmaker, archivist and visual artist.

I make durational film pieces about space and place, using film and social media to explore the impact of architecture and movement of people through urban spaces to investigate cities and sense of place

I have a background in fine art and trained in digital archive film restoration at FIAF L’Immagine Ritrovata film restoration and conservation laboratory in Bologna, Italy. I’m the co-founder of cc Media, a UK-wide independent media collective that produces cultural content for, amongst others, Tate Modern, Liverpool Biennale and The British Film Institute.

As part of a BBC scheme for emerging directors I recently made a short archive documentary called ‘Cote D’Azur’ and recently worked as archive researcher on the BBC documentary programme, Inside Out. I am setting up a production company, Squirrel Nation, to produce future archive documentaries, film and audiovisual artworks.
