Ready? Set? Go!

Wednesday 15th July, 2009

a group of people around a circular table being facilitated by Sarah Pickthall

Last week it really felt like Sync South East had started, with three introductory events in a week - two for the individuals programme and one for the organisations (you can find out more about what happened at each by looking in the events section of the website).

People commented very favourably on the days, on the beginning on their journeys, and enjoyed the time to reflect on where they were and also to network with others. From both programmes, it was clear that there is lots to do.

As one person commented at the end of the organisations day: ‘I am feeling daunted by everything we need to do – BUT felt very supported today and hope you can help us get to a better place’.

That really sums up what Sync South East is there for - to enable disabled artists and artworkers, and disability arts organisations and projects get to a better place; to be the best they can be.

And we've hit the ground running. Watch this space!
