Impact Art Fair/2011 Anthology submissions

Creative Future is excited to be delivering the UK's first ever Art Fair populated solely by talented yet marginalised practitioners. The Impact Art Fair will open at the Candid Arts Trust, London Islington, 20th-22nd May 2011 showcasing the work of an estimated 80 artists to an audience of 2,500 people. - Artists: If you are an artist and would like to enter your work for possible inclusion, please email simonpowell@freeuk.com for submission guidelines. - Writers: A catalogue/anthology will be accompanying the event so that writers’ work can be showcased alongside the artwork – please submit a piece of prose (maximum 800 words) or poems (maximum 3 poems) on the theme of ‘Impact’ to info@creativefuture.org.uk by 28th February 2011. - Organisations: If you are an organization that would like to rent a stall to display your artists’ work, please contact Simon for submission guidelines. Please pass on this information to anyone you think might be interested.

Calling all bloggers

Creative Future has set up a blog for all those writers/artists out there who want to express what life is like as a marginalized artist/writer. Managed by our administrator, Angela, we’re looking for blogs to post up on the site. If you’re interested check out www.creativefutureorg.blogspot.com and email info@creativefuture.org.uk with your posts for Angela to select and upload.

Writing Resources

We realize it’s not always possible to get to a writing workshop but writers still need inspiration and feedback. With this in mind we’ve added more information to our website, including websites for writers/poets, writers groups and courses, independent publishers, distant learning courses. You can also get hold of Writing Routes – a resource handbook for therapeutic writing – which features lots of exercises and examples of using writing for personal development.
